SMM News on June 18:

Today, the SMM 1# lead average price dropped by 25 yuan/mt from yesterday to 16,700 yuan/mt. There was limited availability of secondary lead spot orders, and due to loss pressures, the willingness to sell was poor, with fewer quoters during the morning session. The ex-factory prices of mainstream secondary refined lead remained on par with the SMM 1# lead average price, with some traders offering discounts around 50 yuan/mt. The ex-factory price without tax was around 15,750 yuan/mt. As some primary lead delivery brands entered maintenance, the spot order delivery brand supply remained firm, and downstream battery producers tended to purchase secondary lead. However, transactions were limited due to the scarcity of sellers.
