According to an SMM survey, as of Thursday (November 14), the total zinc ingot inventory in SMM’s seven regions was 127,400 mt, an increase of 7,400 mt from November 7 and an increase of 3,800 mt from November 11. Domestic inventory increased. Shanghai’s inventory decreased significantly, mainly due to fewer deliveries in Shanghai and the relatively good spot transactions as zinc prices fell within the week, leading to a significant decline in overall inventory. Guangdong and Tianjin’s inventories increased, mainly due to more deliveries by traders as delivery approached, significantly increasing warehouse inventories in both regions. Overall, the original three regions’ inventories increased by 2,800 mt, and the seven regions’ inventories increased by 3,800 mt.
